Careers

Green Ninja grew out of academic research at San Jose State University that demonstrated how well-designed educational experiences can promote pro-environmental attitudes and behavior in youth, and how these experiences can produce verifiable reductions in carbon emissions. This research, in part supported by NSF and NASA, provided the foundation to develop a comprehensive middle school science curriculum that has since been adopted by the California Department of Education as an approved science provider. Green Ninja, a California Benefit Corporation, is now uniquely positioned as the only commercial science publisher in the U.S. that uses local and relevant environmental problems as a lens for teaching the new science standards. Although Green Ninja is a small science publisher among many traditional education companies, our goal is to shift the industry towards more purpose-based education and we already have traction with school district partners throughout California. Join a team of committed scientists, educators, and innovators to help inspire and train the next generation of climate change leaders.
