How to Use Green Ninja Videos in Your Classroom

The Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) are being rolled out in schools throughout the nation, and the teachers we've been talking with are both excited and nervous about how this will look in their classroom. At Green Ninja, we've been creating science-themed videos since 2010 to help teachers introduce environmental topics into their curriculum. Here is an example of our most popular videos (> 3 million views) - Footprint Renovation.

Our latest series of videos features a common set of wacky characters who all study at the Green Ninja Academy. And while the videos are quirky and may sometimes seem light on science, the design is very intentional about supporting NGSS language and practices. 

As an example, watch Eugene, one of the video creators, provide a play-by-play commentary during Green Ninja's Weather Show and Tell. It can be fun and helpful to hear what the designers were thinking when they created these videos.
